Executive Chef/General Manager
Chef Tom began his culinary career in 1986 in the Twin Cities. In 1994 Tom attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina graduating with an A.A.S in Culinary Arts.
Chef Tom has been a restaurant owner, executive chef in hotels, a restaurant general manager, executive chef of a country club and has extensive catering experience. Chef Tom was instrumental in developing the complete concept of RED Steakhouse from the start. He is currently the executive chef and general manager.
Chef Tom is married to Polly, a Vermillion kindergarten school teacher, they have four children, Rachel, Joshua, Taylor and Isabelle.
Tom has traveled to Tanzania East Africa many times since 2006 for missionary work with STEMM (Siouxland Tanzania Educational Medical Ministry). He has a passion for the culture and language of Tanzania and serves on the board of directors for STEMM.
